I picked up this dress from a local event in RVA called Vintage is for Lovers last month. This is my second time attending the event and I already can't wait for the next one!

When I saw this dress at the DeCru Clothing booth I knew this was the dress for me! The vibrant colors along with all the other details that make it unique. I love everything about this dress from the high v-neck, shoulder pads and you can't miss the ruching!

I kept the accessories simple. I paired it with gold oval earrings from Zara and black pumps from Vince Camuto. What really tops off the vintage flair are two things: first, the sneaky peep shades from Free People. Tiny frames are definitely back, make sure you get a pair and rock them before the end of the summer! Second, the black clutch with gold clasp. This was my late grandma's favorite clutch. Two of the biggest stores in RVA in that era was Miller and Rhoads and Thalheimer, and while I don't know for certain, I assume my grandma picked it up from one them. This patent leather woven clutch is timeless. Take a minute to look through some family heirlooms to find timeless pieces that will make your outfit pop!
