Last week, I attended a Women’s Health Conference in Orlando, Florida. It was 3 days filled with lectures, case studies with patient scenarios along with hands on experiences. It was a great opportunity to learn about issues concerning patient care while also reflecting on my own experience as nurse. I had a chance to network and collaborate with other nurses around the country. It was great to hear about the successes and difficulties at other hospitals (more similar than we think).
One of the things I loved, was when they asked the attendees to come up with a “problem” to solve and create a action plan for implementation at our respective facilities. So unlike most conferences, we had some work to do!
We did get a little free time, and went to the City Walk (near Universal Studios) and Animal Kingdom. A little tip, next time you go to Disney’s Animal Kingdom visit the new Pandora area where they have the Avatar experience. I don’t want to spoil too much, but it was AMAZING!
Now its time to talk about what I'm wearing!
I love this co-ord set from Zara (top & skirt). The color is obviously gorgeous, but the details make it! The rounded sleeves on the top with gathered slit detail on the skirt (perfect!) You could honestly wear each piece on its own but its just less to think about; when in doubt wear the set!
I kept it simple and I paired it with sunglasses by Banana Republic, black pumps by Vince Camuto and a studded clutch from Express (old, but similar one here). A new favorite accessory, silver hoops by Zara.
Never stop learning or advancing yourself, we all have room to grow!
